Mr. Schrage studied mechanical engineering at the RWTH Aachen University, specializing in production engineering. During his studies, he intensified his technical knowledge in the field of laser-based manufacturing processes.

During his ten-month stay abroad at the Tsinghua University in Beijing (China), Mr. Schrage successfully completed his Master’s degree in Production Engineering with a Master of Science degree.

In his diploma thesis, Mr. Schrage contributed to the development of a manufacturing process for the near-net-shape additive manufacturing of engine parts for aviation.

As a research associate at the RWTH Aachen University and as a project manager at the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology ILT in Aachen, Mr. Schrage focused his activities on the research and further development of machine and system technology for metal-based 3D printing processes. In close cooperation with customers from the automotive and mechanical engineering industries, Mr. Schrage was able to develop and refine numerous innovative processes and systems for additive manufacturing technologies.

Due to his several years of professional experience in the fields of mechanical engineering and especially laser and metal-based 3D printing, Johannes Schrage is a competent contact person in the fields of Additive Manufacturing, 3D printing, laser technology, mechanical engineering, and production and manufacturing technology.

Since 2019, Mr. Schrage has been training as a German Patent Attorney and European Patent Attorney with Habermann IP.

Johannes Schrage is married and has one daughter.

Alexander Waletzki, M.Sc.

Alexander Waletzki began his professional career with a training as an electronics technician for industrial engineering and started in parallel a distance studies to become a graduate engineer in electrical engineering, which he successfully completed during his work as a development assistant for photovoltaic inverters.

During his subsequent work as a development engineer, Alexander Waletzki further analyzed and developed power plant-scale photovoltaic systems worldwide. At the same time, Alexander Waletzki successfully completed a master’s degree in regenerative energy technology and subsequently worked as a technical project engineer for lifting and drive power modules for industrial forklift trucks.

Before Alexander Waletzki devoted himself to training in the field of intellectual property, he developed as a power electronics engineer electronic cooling fans (eCF) in the automotive industry.

Due to his many years of professional experience in various industries, Alexander Waletzki is a competent partner in the fields of control engineering, power electronics, power engineering, software engineering, electronics and the like.
