Dipl.-Ing. Alexander Papke

Mr. Papke served as an officer in the German Federal Armed Forces between 2003 and 2015. Recently he held the rank of Captain in a paratrooper battalion and was head of the battalion’s military intelligence department.

Between 2006 and 2009 Mr. Papke studied Aerospace Engineering at the “Universität der Bundeswehr” in Munich as a part of his officer training. He specialized in the field of propulsion systems and completed his diploma thesis about the design and the numerical analysis of a system for active stabilization of a low-pressure compressor of a jet engine.

After the graduation of his studies, he was first employed as head of the IT department of a paratrooper battalion. In this position he was entrusted with the command of an infantry company, comprising about 180 soldiers. In 2012 he was entrusted with the leadership of the battalion’s military intelligence department.

After the end of his service Mr. Papke had an internship at the HIL GmbH in Darmstadt, where he worked in the field of tank engine repair. Currently he takes training in the field of intellectual property rights at Katscher Habermann Patentanwälte.
